The district "La Ribera" was occupied by merchants and workmen in the Middle Ages. This character of the district is still alive; there are narrow archways, small lanes and houses. In the sixties, they began to restore this district and it became a nice place with little but fancy shops, studios of designers and also beautiful restaurants and bars.
