The international trade fair for (digital-) photography and multimedia takes place in Barcelona again this year. During this trade fair you can experience the new trends and developments in the field of photographie and its technology. The Sinimagfoto 2009 takes place in the Fira Barcelona from the 7th until the 11th of October. If you spend your holiday in Barcelona at the moment and you are interested in Photography, then you should not miss this exceptional trade fair.

This will be the most multimedia based Sonimagfoto of all time. It will present the new developments in the fields of Image capture, Image storage, Image editing, Image processing, Image publishing, AV multimedia systems, Accessories and consumables, Studio equipment for professionals, Image services and Photo art. This year around 165 exhibitors out of 9 counties will come to present their new trends. 100,000 visitors are expected to visit the 11,100 m² big trade fair hall this year.

The trade fair includes 400 different brands of photo equipment, electronic, computer systems, telecommunications, graphic art and exhibitions. Here you can experience a new world of multimedia and technology.

You will also have the possibility to visit several photography courses. Well known photographers will help you to increase your skills in shooting photos.Furthermore you will see how photos are going to be professionally retouched.

You will also find a lot of foto exhibitions within the trade fair. In more than 20 exhibitions, well known photographers are going to present their work. In these exhibitions you can take a look on how proffesionals shoot pictures.

How to get there:
The trade fair will take place in the Fira Barcelona building which is located directly at the Placa Espanya. You can reach it via Metro with the lines 1,3 and 8, where you just get out at the station "Espanya". There are also a lot of bus stops situated around Placa Espanya, where several busses stop. If you are staying in a Barcelona accommodation clsoe to the Placa Espanya during the time of the trade fair, you can easily walk to this unique event.
