If you are spending your Barcelona holidays in a chic Barcelona luxury apartment or in an elegant Barcelona luxury hotel at Passeo de Gracia, you should definitely visit the Barcelona Perfume Museum.

The Perfume Museum, a private institution with more than 5000 different odors, enables you to gather more information about the age-long evolution of Perfumes. Perfumes, deriving from many different cultures are exposed: From pre-and proto-history to Egyptians, Greek Ceramics, Romanic glasses as well as Arabic and oriental objects.

In addition, the odor collection from the 17th to the 19th century is of great interest. There is also an exhibition of the industrialized perfume-collection ranging from the very first to the latest perfumes. Of particular interest is a flask which contains 2 different items: One the one hand, a flask with a perfume which used to belong to the French Marie Antoinette. Parfume.jpg
On the other hand, it contains a Perfume flask which has been designed by Salvador Dali, called "Le Roi Soleil" (the Sun King). Alone because of that, it is worth to visit the Perfume Museum of Barcelona.
