The 13th edition of the World Music Festival will take place in Barcelona. The city's Auditorium will welcome many artists, mainly coming from Africa this year. The organizers are expecting a high-class intercultural dialogue and have been inviting many interesting show and music acts. From October 3 to October 17 a great musical variety will be presented. No other event than the World Music Festival demonstrates such a great hospitality.

Idir, a politival singer from Algeria, will open the Barcelona World Music Festival. There will also perform singers from Iran, Mali and all over Africa. Another highlight will be the concert of Gnawa Crossroads (photo) at Barcelona´s CCCB on 12 October.
