It´s again festival time in Barcelona! The sixth edition of the San Miguel Mas i Mas Festival will bring more than 150 music and concert acts to Barcelona. At five venues throughout the town, visitors of Barcelona and locals can enjoy August summer nights filled with music and festival atmosphere. Staying at Barcelona hotels during this month you can visit Gaudi´s famous La Pedrera, the Jamboree club on Plaza Reial, the Sala Tarantos and the Moog to visit acts of the Mas i Mas Festival 2008 in Barcelona. The cultural diversity of this festival is unique and makes it so interesting.

The well-known amphitheatre on Montjuic, Teatre Grec, will also contribute to the festival and offers two performances per day, presenting different musical styles. Festival acts at the Grec Theater include: Gospel by the Messengers, rumba by Jaleo Real, jazz by Giulia Valle Group and the folk of Quico el Célio. Those loving jazz music should join the performances at the Jamboree club right in the center of Barcelona. In the architectural jewel of Antoni Gaudí, La Pedrera, three concerts of 30 minutes will take place. Inaugurated by the Catalan pianist Albert Guinovart, who will play some pieces of symphony among others, the concerts at La Pedrera will present Spanish masters such as Albéniz or Mompou. Interesting might also be to enjoy a taste of flamenco at the festivals venue Sala Tarantos. To round out the program, electronic music lovers can taste the Mas I Mas Festival at the Moog where DJs will entertain the visitors with the best of techno, house and acid.
